Controlling Who Sees Your Profile and Photos
Although you're free to adjust your profile visibility whenever you'd like, we don't currently have a feature that allows you to selectively hide or make your profile visible to specific members. Here are some other options:
Blocking/Unblocking
You can block another member from having access to your profile by clicking on the Block button on their profile. If you would like to block a member, simply navigate to their profile, click the 3-dot icon, then click Block. If you need to unblock someone you've previously blocked, click the gear icon at the top of your screen and then click the Settings button. Next click the Blocking link. Then, simply select the member you wish to unblock, then click on Unblock at the bottom of the same page.
Private Mode
On your main profile page you will see a setting named "Choose who sees you". If you want to be able to choose who can see you select this radio button.
You can :
- Like or message someone to unlock your profile for their eyes only. You can lock it again at anytime.
- Simply turn it off whenever you don't want to use it.
- Know who sees your profile. The Private Mode shield on a person's profile keeps track of who can see you. Press the icon to re-lock your profile any time.
Removing Profiles From Search Results
How to Do It
You can go to the member’s profile page and click on “Remove from search.” That member will no longer appear in your search results or in your other lists. And of course, they won't know that you took this action.
Un-doing - on Desktop
If you'd like to see the list of those you've removed, you can access your Removed Profiles from your Account Settings page. Click on the gear icon in the main menu at the top of any page on the site, and then select “Settings” from the drop-down menu. On the Account Settings page, click on “Removed Profiles.” If you decide you want to give a member another chance, simply mark the checkbox next to their username and click on the “Show” button at the bottom of the list.
